English Language Training

At Cardonald College Glasgow we offer the following English Language Training.

Pre-sessional English language training

We invite you to join our 5 week pre-sessional English language course starting on Monday 26 July 2010.

This pre-sessional course is only open to international students who have been accepted for one of our HND or other full-time courses starting on Monday 30 August 2010.

Although the pre-sessional course focuses on English language, it is much more than that.

We have devised an enjoyable cultural program as part of the pre-sessional course to introduce you to your fellow students and to Scotland.

Course cost

The course costs £500 and is essential for students with an IELTS score of 5.0. Students with a higher IELTS score are also welcome.

To assist you when you arrive in Scotland for the pre-sessional course, we have arranged a meeting and pick-up service at Glasgow International Airport or Glasgow Central Railway Station. A member of the International Team will meet you in person and arrange a complimentary international phone call home before taking you to your pre-arranged accommodation.

On-going English language support

On starting your HND or other full-time course, you will be allocated a time every week when you can join other students for English language support for the duration of your studies at Cardonald College Glasgow.
