Fashion Design & Garment Manufacture

As patterns of world trade change, often forcing traditional centres of textiles production to adapt to new trading conditions, investment in design talent and efficiency of production become increasingly important.

In response to these changing conditions, Cardonald College continually reviews its fashion design and garment manufacture courses to meet the needs of a fast developing industry.

Our student talent is showcased at our annual fashion show, a highlight of the Scottish fashion calendar, with many of our diploma students recruited directly into industry and fashion houses.

Our lecturing staff maintain close relationships with fashion houses and manufacturing industry, in many countries, and would welcome enquiries from fellow industry professionals.
